I've been helping with personal and business growth, full time, since 1984,
when I opened up Options Learning, Inc.
I've held a special interest throughout my adult life in helping people
to:
- Grow and learn - being dedicated to learning and growing in your personal
and business life.
- Discover the joy of integrating faith, personal life and work - with better
results for everyone.
- Experience their spirituality - converting theory to useful,
practical experience.
- Inspire and lead others - in everyday life and business.
If you want business or personal growth without personal learning and
growth - we won't be a good match. If you are willing to stretch, learn and
grow - we should get to know each other better and discover how well we can work
together.
If you are interested in practical spirituality and personal experience -
we may have an even better fit. I believe that it's simply not useful, polite or
respectful for me (or for anyone) to insist that you speak my language -- I'll
be delighted to learn about your language, metaphors, and paradigms - and use
yours.
I founded the Coach Center, which
emphasizes helping you learn to earn a great living by leveraging and using your
unique gifts and personal strengths.
I have a small Web Site Hosting
Company to make it easier for my clients to get good service and the help
they actually need, making it easier to have an effective web site that is
affordable.
I live with my family near a tiny farming community, Fawn Grove, PA. A
very rural area, with great neighbors...and it doesn't look like it'll grow,
soon! We live on a dirt road off another small dirt road...and love it!
I belong to York Monthly Meeting, a Quaker Meeting (a Friends Meeting,
sometimes referred to as Friends of Jesus Christ). We worship in silence,
in what might be considered a form of group contemplation. We seek an inward
or personal experience of Christ or Inner Light...in silence, without
ritual.
I live with my wife, Britta, who is my best friend; we've been married
since 1972. Also with my son, Daniel, who is currently alternating college and
work.
We currently have two St. Bernard's and two cats -- who remind me that
the real reason I work from my home is so that I can open and close doors for
them all day, taking short walks -- and thus improve the quality of my own life,
immeasurably. (Yes, the cats take walks, too, quite often.)
(Things change so fast now that I'd better date this: it's October 31,
2004, as I write this.)
